- Increase productivity at work: The brain needs to sugar as an energy source to work actively, but as in any part of the body, the excess amounts of it can be harmful.

Neuroscientists have found that thinking, learning and concentration processes are affected by the brain's efficient use of sugar in the body, and diets rich in refined carbohydrates and sugar have been associated with cognitive decline in later life, such as memory and dementia.
The study also found a negative impact on the long-term treatment of diabetes , including depression .

- Improves skin and hair: Dr. Kogan explained that people can notice that their hair, skin and nails have begun to improve when they stop sugar.

Research has shown that high-sugar diets can damage collagen, a protein that makes the skin young, according to "Russia Today".
When sugar enters the body, it triggers a process called Glycation, which creates a substance that can accelerate the effects of aging , such as wrinkles and skin sagging.
The body treats excess sugar through the production of insulin , which leads to inflammation, and is linked to inflammatory skin diseases, including psoriasis and eczema.
Sugar can also aggravate acne , where insulin can produce hormones that promote the growth of seborrheic cells and thus the appearance of spots.
